Want2Scrap I Heart Nana Layout

I have a layout LIVE on the Want2Scrap© Blog - using one of the fabulous overlays - layouts come together so beautiful and we don't have to over think them  - something I tend to do - and it slows me down - but I am sure that would not happen to YOU!

This photo just makes me laugh - I was trying to photograph the layout flat and before I could click the camera - Phoebe, our pug, was 'all over it' - our animals just love being part of everything!

I would love you to pop over to the Want2Scrap© Blog  and check out my layout - and leave a comment over there letting me know what you think - you can find it HERE.

Thank you for your comments and all of the support you give me - you make blogging such an amazing place to be!! Your encouragement is such a blessing for me - it makes my day! God bless you!

Quietfire March Guest Designer - Each of us Has a Song

Hi, I am excited to be back for my second post as the March Guest Designer for Quietfire Design - using a stamp set and a separate sentiment that goes so well with it.   I love these sentiments and images - the calligraphy reminds me of my beautiful Nana - it was a preferred style of hers - it is not hard to see why!

I would love you to pop across and see the whole card - and leave the Quietfire Designs ladies a little love!!  You can see it here.

Thank you so much for having me and all of the encouraging comments you have left me - it has been a fabulous privilege being a Guest Designer - I hope you have been inspired in some way!

Just a Note

Yesterday I posted a very quick tutorial showing how to use the new Spellbinders Debossed Sentiments - if you have not seen it you can find it HERE.  I said I would create a card using the sentiment and here it is...

I used paper from my stash, cut it size and stamped a Prima sentiment on it using Imagine Crafts 'featuring' Tsukineko Memento Luxe Pigment Ink in Rose Bud.
The Edges have also been sponged using Rose Bud.  This layer has been adhere to the card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.
Next the feather image has been stamped onto white cardstock and fussy cut/hand cut, sponged using Imagine Crafts 'featuring' Tsukineko Memento Luxe Pigment Ink in Rose Bud and Radiant Neon in Electric Yellow.
The feather is popped up on Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares for dimension.

Adhere the Spellbinders Sentiment 6 across raised feather using liquid glue

Randomly add  Imagine Crafts 'featuring' Tsukineko irRESISTible Neon Pico Embellisher in Electric Yellow.

This card is for the following challenges:

Spellbinders Debossed Sentiments

I have had quite a few people ask questions about the new Spellbinders Debossed Sentiments and exactly how they work, so I have put together a very quick little tutorial.

I have used Spellbinders Sentiment 6

NOTE: The deboss/raised side of the sentiment faces upwards for inking

I have used Imagine Crafts 'featuring' Tsukineko Memento Luxe Pigment Ink in Rose Bud

I hope this gives you a little more understanding - if you have any questions please feel free to leave them here and I will answer you - or you can find me on facebook.  I will come back tomorrow with a card created using this sentiment - I hope you will come across and check it out!

Gold Majesty Circle

Hello Blog Friends - today I am sharing a card that is definitely 'pretty in pink!' As a first daughter I has so much pink around me I avoided it as I got older and actually didn't start liking it again until I had my first daughter - and now it is a regular 'visitor' on my projects.

The card base has been created using the Romantic Rectangles Two Spellbinders Nestabilities and it certainly lives up ti it's name - wouldn't you agree!?  The Authentique Paper has been adhered using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner.

The Gold Majesty Circles has been cut/embossed using white card and the Grand Calibur Die Cutting and Embossing Machine and popped up on Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares for dimension. The Die-cut has been sponged using Imagine Crafts 'featuring' Tsukineko Memento Luxe in Rose Bud.   This is followed by the Persian Accents Spellbinders® Shapeabilities® - cut/embossed in white cardstock and also popped up using 3D Foam Squares.  Finishing off with a white Mulberry Paper Rose.

This card is for the following challenges:
Digi Choosday Challenge - Lots of Layers
Party Time Tuesdays - Anything Goes
Mema's Challenge -  Anything Goes
2 Creative Chicks - Anything Goes
Through The Craftroom Door - Anything Goes
